Plans for new Pump Track in Whitby appear to be moving forwards.
The project, which could see the facility built close to the towns existing skate park, is being led by a local community interest group.
The Borough Council's Chief Executive - Nick Edwards - says there is good backing for the project.

The project team say they have support from a number of local construction companies and potential funding sources. They will need to apply for planning permission before the scheme can progress.
