Police are currently in attendance on Willow Garth, Rolston Road in Hornsea following the discovery of a man’s body this morning.
Humberside Police say they were called at around 8.40am to reports that a man had been found deceased near to Willow Garth.
Detective Inspector Hannah Mcpeake said:
“Whilst we are in the very early stages of our investigation, the man’s death is being treated as unexplained and we are following lines of enquiries to establish the circumstances leading up to his death.
“A scene guard remains in place and those in the area can expect to see an increased police presence. The road is closed from Southgate to Rolston Road to allow emergency services to carry out their duties, and we advise motorists to avoid the area at this time."
