Pikes were held 1-1 in South Yorkshire on Saturday.
The draw moves Simon Heslop's men up to tenth in Northern Counties East Premier.
However, it could have been even better as Joe Pratley put Pickering in front on 24 minutes.
Struggling Parkgate sat second bottom going into the clash.
But the Rotherham side battled back in the second half.
They levelled on 68 minutes.
Pickering return to home action, next Saturday.
Pikes face Bradford side Thackley with a 3pm kick-off, at Mill Lane.
