Pickering Town Make It Two in Two

The Pikes appear to be back in form as they followed up their midweek League Cup victory with another win.

Saturday brought an emphatic win for Tony Hackworth's men.

They returned to Northern Counties East Premier action in style.

Pikes are now 7th after seeing off Barton Town 3-0.

All the goals came in 17 second-half minutes.

First, Souleymane Coulibaly broke the deadlock seven minutes into the restart.

George Brown doubled Pickering's advantage within three minutes.

Former Scarborough Athletic and Bridlington Town midfielder Simon Heslop then ended the contest with a third on 69 minutes.

Pickering host Sheffield FC, in the league, on Tuesday, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

Pikes could go fourth with a win, depending on other results.
