David Skaith has been speaking to This Is The Coast following his first 100 days in office.
North Yorkshire's Mayor has revealed his plans to help businesses on the Yorkshire Coast.
A business owner himself, David Skaith told This is The Coast his Mayor's High Street Fund will assist shops in town centres like those in Whitby and Scarborough:
Mr Skaith was elected as North Yorkshire's first-ever mayor on 2nd May.
He wants to improve transport links to the Yorkshire Coast.
