The craft fair is to help raise funds towards a new Mencap Centre in Scarborough which has been costed at £1.2 million.
Today's event is taking place outside the entrance of the Mencap Charity Shop in the Balmoral Centre in Scarborough.
Jenny Stamford, Chair of the Trustees for Mencap in the town, says they're hosting the craft fair to coincide with Learning Disabilities Week, with the fair being run by people with learning disabilities:
Mencap helps people withy learning disabilities live active lives, be it through volunteering in the shop, finding jobs elsewhere, performing arts, sport and much more.
We spoke to Mencap Edward and Zoe who told us about their very busy, active lives:
The Craft Fair is on all day today in the Balmoral Centre.
