Police are appealing for information following a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A166 York Road, Wetwang near the junction with the B1248 on Boxing Day.
It is reported at around 1.30pm, the driver of a silver Kia Rio was involved in a collision with the rider of a red Honda motorbike.
Emergency services attended the scene and the motorcyclist, a 51-year-old man, was taken to hospital to receive treatment for life-threatening injuries.
