Yorkshire Water say some areas around Hutton Buscel and Wykeham are experiencing a loss of water pressure.
Yorkshire Water say some customers in the YO13 area may have low water pressure or no water, adding:
"We're really sorry but customers may have low pressure or no water in the area. We're working hard to get your water back to normal as soon as possible.
Once it's fixed, your water may be cloudy or discoloured - you can clear this by running your tap for a few minutes."
The low pressure has affected the nearby North Yorkshire Water Park.
They say:
"As some of you may already be aware, Yorkshire Water is experiencing some issues in the local area, which is having an impact on our freshwater supply at the park.
We’ve been assured that they are looking to resolve the problem as soon as possible but please bear with us in the meantime as this will impact some of the services in the café and around the park.
We do still have a limited supply of drinks available in the café but please bring your own drinking water if you can, to make sure you say hydrated in the heat!
We thank you all in advance for your patience and look forward to seeing you all for your next adventure soon!"
