An estate agency operating on the Yorkshire Coast has donated £1,000 to the Filey Lions Club for the second year in a row to support their community work.
Hunters East Coast has announced a £1,000 donation to the Filey Lions Club, providing a financial boost to the volunteer organisation.
This marks the second consecutive year that the locally owned and operated business has supported the club and its valuable work within the community.
The contribution was specifically made by Hunters Filey, which is part of the wider Hunters East Coast group. The estate agency and lettings business operates offices across the Yorkshire Coast, including branches in Filey, Bridlington, and Scarborough.
According to the company, it is committed to supporting the communities it serves, not only through its professional services but also through ongoing involvement with local charities, community groups, and events.
The Filey Lions Club is a branch of Lions Clubs International, which is described as one of the largest service organisations in the world.
Operated entirely by volunteers, the local club spends the year raising funds to assist people, charities, and community projects in the area. Their charitable efforts include aiding individuals and families in need, providing practical assistance to area organisations, and supporting local initiatives and events.
Hunters East Coast says this latest donation will help the Filey Lions Club to continue its important work within the town.
Pete Croft, Director of Hunters East Coast, said:
"We are delighted to support the Filey Lions Club once again with a donation of £1,000. The work they do within the community is truly remarkable and makes a real difference to the lives of local people.
As a business with strong roots in Filey, we feel it is important to support organisations that help make the town such a great place to live and work. The Lions Club's volunteers dedicate an enormous amount of time and effort to helping others, and we are proud to play a small part in supporting their continued success."
The estate agency expressed its gratitude to the volunteers at the Filey Lions Club for their ongoing dedication.
The business added that it looks forward to continuing its support for community initiatives across the Yorkshire Coast in the future.
