Two major holiday parks have committed to providing a regular monthly income to The Rainbow Centre to help secure the long-term sustainability of its community services.
Long-term financial stability for a vital community service has received a major boost after two holiday parks pledged regular monthly funding.
Primrose Valley and Blue Dolphin Haven Holiday Parks have become the latest businesses to join an initiative known as The Rainbow 100 Club.
The project is actively searching for one hundred businesses willing to commit to a monthly donation to support The Rainbow Centre. Officials at the centre say this guaranteed monthly income will provide essential long-term financial stability for their operations.
Securing regular donations will also allow the organisation to apply for match-funded grants to assist with everyday running costs, a move described by the centre as essential for the ongoing sustainability of the service.
Alongside the financial commitment, the two holiday parks have agreed to host food donation boxes on their premises. These boxes will allow regular food donations to be collected from customers who leave grocery items behind at the end of their stays at the parks.
The holiday parks are already regular supporters of The Rainbow Centre, and their continued backing has been hugely appreciated by the team.
Fundraising Officer at The Rainbow Centre, James Howard, said:
"It is a great honour to welcome Primrose Valley and Haven into our 100 Club at The Rainbow Centre. It shows that the word is getting out there and it is a great opportunity for businesses within our community to really make a difference on a regular basis. I would like to thank Steph for doing the leg work to get them signed up."
Businesses that sign up to become members of the Rainbow 100 Club receive a variety of benefits in return for their monthly financial commitment. This includes a plaque to display at their premises to highlight their involvement in the initiative to customers and clients.
Members are also offered corporate volunteering opportunities for their staff, alongside an invitation to an annual gathering for the club.
To ensure transparency, businesses receive a regular newsletter detailing exactly how their donations have been spent, complete with statistics and testimonials from clients who have been helped by the centre.
The Rainbow Centre has also promised regular positive social media and press output to promote the members of the club.
Any businesses wishing to join the initiative and help provide a guaranteed monthly income for the centre are encouraged to get in touch directly with James Howard via email at james.howard@therainbowcentre.org for more information.
