Grim Milestone in North Yorkshire's Covid Battle

The NHS in North Yorkshire has revealed a concerning statistic as the fight against Covid-19 continues in the county.

More than one thousand people have now died as a result COVID-19 in North Yorkshire.

The latest figures show 1,006 COVID deaths in the county since the start of the pandemic.

Amanda Bloor from the NHS in North Yorkshire says case numbers remain high and there is no room for complacency:
