Fire engines from Scarborough, Filey, Sherburn and Malton attended a serious fire in a commercial premises in Scarborough last night.
An additional appliance from Pickering was also called in to help at the incident in the King Street / Newborough area of Scarborough.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue asked people to avoid the area while they dealt with the incident.

Station Manager, Tony Walker said:
"6 pumps attended and brought the fire under control. It is Now under investigation. There were no injuries reported.
