Kayleigh Allanson is walking 10,000 steps every day in February
She wanted to raise money for Brain Tumour Research after her Auntie was diagnosed with 6 brain tumours:
"I'm fundraising on her behalf and also asking local businesses to donate raffle prize. The raffles are ongoing. I've raised over £1,000 already. I never even thought I'd raise that much".
Kayleigh told 'Paddy at Breakfast' that her job as a carer helps her achieve her daily steps goal but she's also been walking locally:
I'm going for walks around Filey. I put my Strava on and I uplaod that on my page. My daughter's joining in as well. I had her on a 5 mile walk with me the other day. The community has been fantastic in Filey and Scarborough, the amount of businesses who've donated, I've been overwhelmed.
