The boats were launched after reports of a person entering the sea at Speeton.
According to tweets from Filey Lifeboat this afternoon, the ILB launched first just before 2:00pm, with Neil Cammish, Vanessa Thomas and Joe Butcher as crew.
With sea conditions as they were, it was decided that the ALB should launch to assist and provide shelter and cover for the ILB.
The search was called off when it was reported that the person they were searching for had been seen walking away from the beach.
