A man and a Women both in their 30's have died after a collision on the A165 between Bridlington and Reighton.
The collision on Friday afternoon involved a black Mercedes GLA and a red Peugeot 2008 on the A165 at the junction of the Grindale Road.
The driver and passenger of the Peugeot, sustained fatal injuries in the collision and died at the scene. A child travelling in the car was taken to hospital as a precaution and suffered minor injuries.
The female driver, and sole occupant, of the Mercedes sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment, where she remains in a serious condition.
Humberside Police say the families of the deceased are being supported by specially trained officers and say "our deepest sympathies are with them at this extremely sad time."
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle prior to the collision to call them on 101 quoting log 338 of 7 May 2021.
