FA Trophy Jinx Hits Scarborough Athletic Again

The Seadogs' wretched recent record in the competition continued on Saturday.

While Scarborough FC's stars won the FA Trophy three times in the 1970s, Athletic's struggles continue.

They fell behind late in the first half at NPL Premier Stockton Town.

However, Boro hit back just before the break.

Kieran Glynn was at the heart of the good work, with Richie Bennett then chesting down for Dom Tear to level the scores.

However, the second half saw Stockton netting either side of the hour mark.

SAFC TV caught up with Boro boss Jono Greening after the match:

Scarborough Athletic go to Hereford United in National North.
