East Riding of Yorkshire Council is continuing a drive to upgrade energy inefficient homes in the county.
A drive to make homes in the East Riding more energy efficient is progressing well according to the county's Director of Public Health.
Andy Kingdom says the Warm Home Scheme is aiming to make a long term difference to resident's energy bills.
Efforts are also underway in the East Riding to improve the energy efficiency of rented accommodation.
The council says it is working with landlords who rent out F rated homes to make them more efficient and lower bills.
Andy Kingdom says there are a sizeable number of energy inefficient houses in the Easy Yorkshire rental stock.
