Education Head in North Yorkshire Explains What Covid Changes Mean For Schools

The government will announce later whether or not the lockdown restrictions will be effectively removed in a week's time.

Ministers say they want to look at the latest data before making a final decision.

If the restrictions are removed it will mean a number of changes for schools.

Bubbles will end, but they will be required to keep a number of measures in place.

Amanda Newbold is North Yorkshire's Deputy head of education:

Amanda says the lifting of the requirement for bubbles might not be instantly implemented in North Yorkshire's schools and says there are circumstances under which they could return in the future.
