Officers are appealing for information following reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A614 between Burton Agnes and Ruston Parva, Driffield on Thursday.
It is reported at around 3.30pm, a Grey Volkswagen travelling northbound and a Silver Mercedes traveling southbound were involved in a collision on the A614.
Emergency services attended and the driver of the Volkswagen, a 77-year-old man, and a passenger of the Mercedes, a 72-year-old woman, were taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries that are not believed to be life threatening at this time.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 71-year-old man, was also taken to hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries.
Police would appeal to anyone who was travelling in the area and may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage that may assist with their enquiries to please call on their non-emergency number 101 quoting log 285 of 21 August.
