North Yorkshire Police have confirmed the road between Larpool Lane and Ruswarp has been closed after a road traffic collision.
Known locally as 'danger bank', officers have confirmed they're attending an RTC in the area.
They say Glen Esk Lane to Larpool Lane is currently blocked.
Motorists should avoid the area.
