COVID Jabs Could be Given on Christmas Day

NHS Bosses in North Yorkshire say some clinics could run on Christmas Day

COVID Vaccine sites in North Yorkshire could open on Christmas day if there is demand.

Health bosses in the county haven't ruled out the measure as the race to give booster jabs continues.

Amanda Bloor from the NHS in the county say capacity has been increased at all vaccination sites.

Some pharmacies are now also being used to deliver COVID booster jabs in North Yorkshire.

The sites have been bought into action as the local NHS races to get peopled vaccinated as quickly as possible.

Amanda Bloor says the best way to book a jab is the NHS online booking site.
