The town's Shannon lifeboat will appear in a Cbeebies show next week.
An episode of Grace’s Amazing Machines, partly filmed at Scarborough RNLI, will hit the nation’s TV screens next week.
The CBeebies show’s presenter, Grace Webb, and a BBC film crew visited Scarborough in October last year, before the pandemic.
The episode shows Grace on the Shannon launch-and-recovery vehicle with various volunteers from the lifeboat team.
The programme explains the role and basic mechanics of large and fast vehicles. Grace usually ends up in the driving seat for a demonstration.
The 15-minute episode can be seen next Tuesday, 24 November, at 4.05pm.
