Anne "The Governess" Hegerty from ITV's Beat the Chaser will be returning to Scarborough Spa for Panto season this year along with TV personality Jake Quickenden.
Anne "The Governess" Hegerty is returning to Scarborough Spa following a successful run in 2024’s Cinderella.
This December she will be playing ‘The Fairy Rose’ in a new production of Beauty & The Beast.
Anne will be joined on the Spa Theatre stage by actor, presenter, and TV personality Jake Quickenden, who will be taking on the role as the villainous Gaston.

The show will tell the story of a faraway land where an arrogant and self-centred prince is magically transformed into a hideous beast and where only a kind-hearted village girl can mend the prince’s ways in time and break the spell.
The Tony Peers production promises sensational costumes, sparkling sets, and great songs to sing along to.
The panto runs from 6th December 2025 to 1st January 2026 in the Scarborough Spa Theatre.
Performances for schools will take place from 5th - 19th December.
The Rainbows, Brownies and Guides performance will take place on Sunday 7th December at 1pm.
The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts performance will take place on Sunday 7th December at 6pm.
