CCTV Appeal Launched After Whitby Theft

Police have issued this CCTV of a man they would like to speak to following a theft in Whitby.

It happened at 4.30pm Thursday 12 September 2024 in Whitby’s Aldi and involved a man stealing a purse from a woman’s handbag.  

Please contact Police if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist the investigation.
