Bridlington Town came from behind, at Grimsby Borough, on Wednesday night.
The Seasiders fell behind, in the first half, but fought back after the interval.
Skipper Tom Allan was the man with a plan on 68 minutes, levelling with a powerful header.
Brid then led for the first time when Jake Day controlled brilliantly before calmly slotting home, 12 minutes from time.
Allan volleyed against a post late on as Brid eased to victory.
Scott Kerr's men are back in action, on Saturday, when they host Blyth Town, at the Mounting Systems Stadium, at 3pm.
