Emergency services released one man after a traffic collision at Lebberston, near Filey.
Fire crews from Filey and Scarborough assisted with the single-vehicle road traffic collision, at around 3.20pm on Thursday.
Officers worked with hydraulic cutting and spreading equipment on the vehicle to allow the safe release of one male driver, who had become trapped as a result of the collision.
The casualty was removed from the vehicle and left in the hands of paramedics.
The A165 was briefly closed as a result of the incident.
