It's results day across the country, including on the Yorkshire Coast.
Scarborough Sixth Form College say they've once again achieved an excellent set of A Level, T level and Applied General results.
Their overall pass rate for A levels was 98% with 46% achieving the highest grades of A*, A or B and 75% achieving A* - C. 18 students achieved straight A*/A grades, which is an outstanding feat. These results mean students have secured places at some of the most prestigious universities including Cambridge and Oxford and on some of the most competitive courses including Law and Medicine.
Principal Phil Rumsey says he's particularly proud of those who've worked hard to drag their grades up since joining the school:
With the fast pace of change in AI and the way we work, the college says it's invested heavily in digital technology so that every student is issued with an iPad when they join. They add it also means a positive impact for the environment with a significant reduction in paper use and printing.
