Spring Daze

Spring Daze is a free, family‑friendly event taking place at Peasholm Park on Wednesday 1 April 2026, running from 10am to 4pm. The event celebrates the arrival of spring and offers a full day of activities for families, residents, and visitors during the Easter holidays.

Throughout the day, families can enjoy a wide range of nature‑based and hands‑on activities, including bushcraft, fire‑lighting, leaf rubbing, sunflower potting, and a woodland trail. There will also be knot‑tying sessions with the Sea Cadets, live music from the bandstand, face painting (with a small charge), and birds of prey displays. A variety of community groups, charities and local traders will also be attending, offering family‑friendly stalls, food and craft items.

Children’s entertainer Kathy Seabrook will be performing in the tipi throughout the day, with regular sessions running all day. These performances are designed to keep younger children engaged and entertained during their visit.

Spring Daze provides a fun and accessible day out for families looking to enjoy the beautiful award‑winning Peasholm Park. It combines outdoor exploration, creative activities, and community engagement in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
