We are thrilled to invite you to our exclusive Sock Blank Dyeing Workshop, where you'll have the chance to create your own one-of-a-kind sock masterpieces.
What is a Sock Blank?
A sock blank is a long, flat, pre-knit piece of fabric that is specifically designed for dyeing and later unravelling to create stunning, self-striping socks. Unlike traditional yarn skeins, sock blanks offer endless possibilities for artistic expression, making them a perfect canvas for your creativity.
What to Expect?
During this workshop, you will learn various dyeing techniques and colour blending methods to transform your blank canvas into a work of art. Lisa will guide you through the entire process, from preparing the sock blanks to applying dyes and setting the colours.
Your creations, your style.
With the freedom to mix and match colours, patterns, and styles, you'll have the opportunity to design socks that perfectly match your personality. Whether you prefer bold and bright hues or subtle pastel shades, this workshop will empower you to express your individuality through your handmade creations.
Materials Provided
- 100g pre-knit double sock blank.
- High-quality dyes in a wide range of colours.
- Protective gear (gloves, aprons, etc.).
- All necessary dyeing equipment.
- Chance to purchase another sock blank.
