Scarborough Astronomical Society: Introduction to Astronomy Evening
This event is for those who have, or want to develop an interest in Astronomy, but don’t know where to start, or for those who have a telescope and don’t know how to use it effectively.
It will include a short introductory talk followed by a chance for non-members to approach members for help and advice on astronomy or in setting up and using telescopes etc.
If the skies are clear then telescopes will be available outside for observing.
Feel free to bring along equipment you may have, especially if you don’t know how to use it and want some guidance!
Free entry for all for this event (normally £3 for non-members on the door)
