Exhibition across Whitby Museum and Pannett Art Gallery. Coming to Whitby, the home of Captain Cook’s ship the Endeavour, is a unique Exhibition of Aboriginal Art. Collected together for the first time in the UK ‘REVISIONS: made by the Warlpiri of Central Australia and Patrick Waterhouse’ includes reworkings of documents from Australia’s colonial history reworked by the Warlpiri artists in their traditional style. This exhibition will be alongside a collection of Aboriginal works curated by the Rebecca Hossack Gallery, London. This will be the first time these works are collected together in the UK. Closed Mondays, open Tuesday-Sunday.
