Parenting a child with mental health challenges can feel overwhelming — but you don’t have to face it alone.
This compassionate, practical online workshops from are designed to support parents and carers who want to better understand their child’s mental health and feel more confident in offering the right kind of support.
Based on our Parent’s Guide to Understanding Mental Health workbook, this session will help you:
Recognise early signs of mental health challenges in children and young people
Create a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental home environment
Build everyday tools to support emotional wellbeing
Learn how to communicate openly and respond calmly in difficult moments
Reflect on your own wellbeing and role as a supportive parent or carer
These workshops are for any parent, guardian, or carer who wants to feel more equipped, connected, and reassured on the journey of supporting their young person. There are 2 sessions, the 8th and 15th September, 10-11.30. You can attend either or both as we'll cover different topics at each. Once registered, you'll receive a link to join and a copy of our guidebook.
