HUTTON BUSCEL OPEN GARDENS 2026

The village of Hutton Buscel, which lies west of Scarborough is holding its popular annual OPEN GARDENS event on Sunday 7th June 2026. Nineteen gardens will be open to the public, ranging from small backyards to extensive gardens with views over the Vale of Pickering. There will be gardens open for the first time this year. The Village Hall will be the setting for tea, cakes and savouries all afternoon, which will be served outside in the grounds in marquees. There will be a range of craft stalls and a tombola in the grounds of the Village Hall. Other attractions in the gardens include a book stall, art displays, a candle workshop and a large sale of garden plants.
Admission is £5 per adult, which includes free parking in a field off Great Moor Road at the centre of the village. The gardens will be open from 12-5pm. The funds raised are going to St Matthews Church for the upkeep of this historic building and churchyard.
