Join York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity for a classic climb up Helvellyn with a twist and see the spectacular views of the Lake District as the sun sets in the west.

Starting from Thirlmere, the walk takes you directly to the top of Helvellyn on a stepped route with incredible views of the Lake District. From the summit you will see Red Tarn, Striding Edge to Scafell Pike and the stunning view of Thirlmere.
We will remain at the top to watch Sunset for around 20 minutes before starting the descent. This means, we will be walking down in the dark, something not many will ever have done.
