Drop-In Crafty Corner Craft Sessions - Unleash your artistic side in our craft sessions in our classroom on Platform 2 at Pickering. Get creative in this hands-on activity, creating masterpieces inspired by the golden age of steam locomotives. Let your creativity flow as you make unique souvenirs to take home and cherish. Monday 12 February & Friday 16 February - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Pre-booked Free Storytelling with Story Craft Theatre - Join the NYMR this February for free storytelling sessions and travel through a whole host of fairytales. We’ll meet some familiar faces along the way… Little Red Riding Hood, the Gingerbread Man, and some hungry Bears to name a few. From the award-winning Story Craft Theatre there will be a fun-packed interactive show, with games, music, puppets and so much more! This fun-packed adventure is aimed at 2-7 year olds, but can be enjoyed by the whole family - 4 sessions are available for up to 30 children and an accompanying adult. Tuesday 13 February - 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm.

Creative Adventures Onboard: Activity Sheets and Coloured Pencils - Embark on a creative journey with our specially designed activity sheets and coloured pencils, handed out at booking offices and shops. Let your imagination soar and gain inspiration from your journey as you complete activity the sheets on the train - a delightful keepsake for the whole family and a memory to cherish. Available every day, while stocks last.

Get a first-hand look at the technology that keeps our trains on track - an interactive experience for railway enthusiasts of all ages. Wednesday 14 & Thursday 15 February - 10:00 am, 12:00 pm & 2:00 pm.
