Pop-up Cinema Yorkshire are back in Pickering to show a double dose of historical drama, The Choral.
Showings take place at 2.30pm and 7.30pm with doors open for refreshments an hour before each film.

The Choral is a British historical drama set in Yorkshire in 1916, during the height of World War I. With most of the local men away fighting, the town’s choral society faces a crisis: too few singers remain to continue their annual performance. Determined to keep their tradition alive, the society’s committee recruits young boys and girls and appoints a new chorus master, Dr Henry Guthrie - a cultured but controversial figure who has just returned from Germany.
