Music lovers are invited to step back in time and celebrate Scarborough’s very own "King of the Violin" at a special morning tribute concert on Thursday, 28th May.
Titled "Escape to Happiness! - A Musical Tribute to Max Jaffa," the event will honour the legendary British violinist who became synonymous with Scarborough’s vibrant summer music scene.
The performance will take place from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at the historic St. Martin on the Hill on Albion Road, Scarborough.
Virtuoso violinist Andy Long will bring to life a selection of music that echoes the golden era of Jaffa’s famous Spa Orchestra performances, offering a nostalgic and joyful mid-morning escape for locals and visitors alike.
Andy says, "Max Jaffa holds a very special place in the cultural heart of Scarborough and this concert is the perfect opportunity to celebrate his enduring legacy in a beautiful local setting.”
