Free Art Activities in May as part of Scarborough 400
Beneath the ground at Scarborough Spa is the location of a victorian pump room; where wealthy visitors to the town would come to sample the mineral waters that made the town famous. As this historic room is now no longer accessible, we are creating an incredible full size interactive reconstruction of the space in cardboard for visitors to explore @scarborough_spa this summer.
One of the main features of the pump room is a multitude of decorative tiles.
Join us at one of the following free drop in sessions to get involved by decorating card tiles that will feature in this exciting reconstruction:
Tiles take approx. 10 minutes to decorate, and you can make as many as you like. Suitable for participants age 7 and above. Children must be accompanied by an adult. See you there!
