Beating The Squeeze! Keeping healthy and warm on a budget

 By doing all we can as a community to keep up our health and hopefully improve our wellbeing we help reduce the pressure on practices and our health and social care system. We are planning to have three key zones:  physical and mental health / health and fitness / practical information.    Each ‘zone’ will have a variety of contributors, all asked to bring information and practical engagement activities.   

We anticipate it to be an active day for those wishing to actively participate, however we will be offering quieter zone seating for participants who may just want to absorb information more quietly - or just talk! The day will feature a variety of organisations who can provide practical wellbeing help and support, as well as interactive facilities such as seated yoga, mindfulness sessions etc. Clinicians from Ayton and Snainton surgery will be attending to do blood pressure checks, smoking cessation discussions etc. Also, (weather permitting) activities will be delivered in the grounds of East Ayton Lodge. It is a great opportunity to network and link in with other organisations and those working with a keen interest to adhere to good physical and mental wellbeing. It really is shaping up to be a fantastic event, we really hope you can join us.
