Ayton Scarecrow Trail around the village of East and West Ayton
The annual East and West Ayton Scarecrow Trail is bigger than ever with an entry of over a hundred scarecrows! It is open to the public from 16 August to 24 August and trail maps are available to purchase from The Spar Garage/Shop. Refreshments and toilets are available along the way. The trail doesn’t have to be walked in one go; you can walk it in parts on different days, once you have purchased a map. There is also a local history exhibition being held at the Methodist Church on Saturday 16 August with refreshments. Please support our event. All money raised goes back into the village. Thank you 😀
