Aalia Houses Christmas Fair

we are an independently run care home in Bridlington. We have been open for just over 2 years now, we care for the elderly and those who are living with Dementia.

We are a care home trying to make a difference to what some people might portray of a typical care home!

Our home, is a home away from home, and we like to have as much fun and laughter as we can! We also love a good sing-a-long which is all therapy for our residents living with dementia.

From when we opened in July 2023, we have come on so far and each year we hold a summer and Christmas fair, to help us raise money for our residents funds, and to invite family members, and our community into our home and also help raise awareness of living with Dementia, and that it’s not that scary if you have to move into a care home.

Our money raised over the years has gone towards trips out to the theatre, singers and entertainment coming into the home, and we also have created a reminiscing room for our residents to enjoy.


It is coming up to our second Christmas fair, this year we are also supporting the RSPCA, which is close to a lot of our residents and staff hearts …. they will also be having a stall at the fair.

What to expect on the day:
Home-Made Cake Stall - including Alison the managers famous Christmas Cakes.
Craft Stall by 2 lovely ladies, who have supported us from the start - Ally’s and Angela’s Crafts.
RSPCA will be holding a stall to help raise money for the fantastic RSPCA Charity.
Prize Raffle
Massive Prize Tombola
Refreshments - including a Boozy Hot Chocolate Station!
Live Music from the amazing Mr Music!

We will also be having a special visit from Santa, who will be keeping warm in his Grotto.
