Scarborough Fair 2025 Summer Season

Three exciting festivals are taking place in Scarborough this summer as part of the 2025 Scarborough Fair.

Scarborough Fringe runs from Friday 13th June to Sunday 22nd June, with a burst of creativity of all kinds, in venues large and small. 

The Scarborough Fringe festival includes comedy, live music, dance, theatre, spoken word, workshops and family shows, so there really is something for everyone to enjoy. The Fringe appeals to Scarborough residents and tourists alike, and is a great opportunity to try something new.

With a diverse range of performances, exhibitions, and events, you are sure to find something to enjoy.

Scarborough Art takes place between Saturday 5th July and Sunday 3rd August, and is an exciting mix of exhibitions, open studios and workshops, taking place across Scarborough and beyond. 

It is an opportunity for you to visit galleries and other arts venues to view and buy work by the creative community, as well as even have the chance to make some art yourselves.

Artwork of a wide range of media will be showcased from paintings and sculpture to photography and printmaking. This event is perfect for art lovers of all ages to enjoy a day filled with creativity and inspiration.

Scarborough Extreme is a three-day extravaganza of action sports, and music from Sound of Scarborough from Saturday 12th to Monday 14th July. 

The festival opens with the Showcase Day in North Bay, with local sports groups, communities and businesses there with stalls. 

There will also be incredible performances and appearances of extreme sports athletes, including British Cycling, Parkour UK and Skateboarding GB and the 360 ALLSTARS.

Sunday is the Taster Day, which means it is your chance to try out some of the amazing sports and activities on offer at locations across Scarborough. 

Monday is a special Performance Day, with a planned skydive by Skydive GB, landing outside Scarborough Spa.
