Hackness Road Surgery Christmas Tree Project

All you need to do is use your skills to make woolly squares.  
Anything goes, they can be patterned or plain, knit or crochet, light green or dark doesn’t matter any shade of green will work perfectly, you could even go mad and use several shades of green. Stripes or spot’s patterned or plain all squares will be welcome to the project.

Whether you make one square or several it doesn’t matter, every square counts. How big? Well ideally between 6 and 8 inches square, and using DK yarn.

To ensure we keep each other safe we ask that on completing your squares you place them in a plastic bag and tie the top, we will quarantine all your parcels before opening and adding them to the collection. There will be a swing top collection bin outside the surgery to place your  Christmas Tree squares.

We are really excited about completing this project with you. We feel it will bring a sense of community reflective of these testing times we all find we are in and the end result will bring joy to all who pass our way in celebration of the festive period.
Please let us have your squares  as soon as they are available as this will allow us the opportunity to join up squares and build (grow!) the tree.
