Age UK North Yorkshire Coast & Moors have a new project called The Gift of Friendship. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

St John Ambulance<\/b> are looking for new members<\/b> here along the Yorkshire Coast<\/b>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The charity steps forward in the moments that matter, to save lives and keep communities safe. They also provide workplace training, first aid supplies and ambulance services.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The Coast & Moors<\/b> division of the charity is currently looking for Community First Aiders<\/b> to help with event cover, in addition to Youth Leaders<\/b> who can provide training to children from 6 to 17 years. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The Community Furniture Store in Scarborough is a charity with three main goals – the provision of affordable, or free, furniture, household appliances and IT equipment. Preservation of the environment through reuse. And offering volunteering\/work opportunities to the long term unemployed or disadvantaged. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The store relies on donations of reusable furniture, appliances, and other household items. They offer a delivery and collection service within the local area. All collections are free. <\/p>\n\n

Launched locally in 2018, Wetwheels Yorkshire is the fifth regional operator for the national disability power boating charity, Wetwheels Foundation<\/a>. They are based in Whitby and operate across the region, bringing the joy and excitement of power boating to every disabled person along the Yorkshire coast.<\/p>\n\n

These fully accessible experiences allow participants not only to be passengers but also to take the helm as the skipper. Everyone gets the chance to drive! It's an unforgettable experience for individuals of all abilities.<\/p>\n\n
